3 months old!

This has been the best 3 months of our lives.  You are such a good baby! You weighed 11lbs 13 oz and were 23 1/4 long at your last doctors appointment.  You are drinking 4 oz of formula every 3 hours.  You are sleeping 8 to 10 hours a night and taking 2 or 3 short naps during the day.  You have started smiling and "talking" which is sooo cute. You like going for walks and playing with your raddle.  You do not like tummy time at all.

Sorry this post is late..hey im a mom I have an excuse! You were 3 months old on July 28th..so I'm only a couple days late ;)

1. What were your school colors?

2. What's the best compliment you ever received?

That my Baby is beautiful :) 

3. Do you buy cheap or expensive toilet paper?

In the middle....I have no clue what the name of it is because I throw the wrapper away after I restock! 

4. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? Or have you had one for someone else?

I think I have thrown a surprise party for someone but I can't remember who..lol 

5. What is one material possession that you "can't live without"?

Most likely, my cell phone.  If I think I left it at home, I freak out! I don't feel "safe" without it!

2 months old 6.28.2010

• Your wearing size 1 diapers now & 0-3 month clothes.  You can even fit into some 3 month dresses
• You love to smile in the mornings
• You started sleeping for at least 6 hours at night
• You like to go shopping with mommy
• You like to coo and ooh at mommy & daddy

So, this has been a fast but "trying" week.  Ava has had an interesting week.  She has become VERY fussy during the day and is usually not like that.  She is 8 weeks old now (which I cant believe).  So, this week my usually happy baby turned into a fussy, unhappy baby which breaks my heart.  Well, what I have figured out is this is normal.  It is part of their development.   All she need is a little more love and cuddling from me and we can get through this.  On the way home tonight, I heard Trace Adkins' song "Your gonna miss this."  Of course, I started bawling because even though my patience has been tested, I will miss this time!

The chorus says: "You're gonna miss this

• Your still wearing newborn clothing & diapers 
• Your still a night owl like your mom especially from 3 to 6am
• You love when we read books to you
• Your eating every 3 hours and sleeping in between
• You love to watch ceiling fans
• Your very alert when your awake
• You love your daddy and your happiest when he is around

We love you soooo much baby girl.  This past month has been the best months of our lives.  We can't believe your already a month old.  Time does fly when your having fun!
